Through community training, we teach adults and youth about behavior changes and early reporting in order to reduce abuse and create a stronger child protection ecosystem.

Founded as Pat’s Place, we are an expert child-friendly facility where children and their families receive the help they need to move forward after experiencing abuse.

Preventing Abuse

Each year, more than 2,000 adults are trained to prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse.

Strong Partnerships

Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte works with law enforcement, social services, and Levine Children’s Hospital to ensure all children receive the support they need.

Listening to the Smallest Voices

More than 600 Forensic Interviews are conducted annually. 33% of all cases involve children younger than 7 years old.
