How We Work

Evidence-Based Therapy

Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte provides evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy for children and adolescents who have experienced abuse. Our clinical team works closely with caregivers to support healing, strengthen families, and build a path forward.

What to Expect

A Tailored Therapy Program

Our therapy program is designed to meet the unique needs and situations of children and adolescents who have suffered abuse and received forensic services at the center. Therapists work to support the recovery of family members and to improve their ability to assist the child. We also recognize that families have many competing needs and cannot always participate in long-term treatment so we offer several short-term, yet highly effective, interventions.

A Place Where Healing Begins

Walking through our doors can feel overwhelming. Here, children find a space where they are believed, supported, and never alone.

Watch how Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte helps children move from fear and secrecy toward safety, strength, and hope.
