How We Work
ROAR
Through a generous Innovation Grant from Smart Start of Mecklenburg County, Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte is proud to introduce ROAR.
About the Training
ROAR is an interactive, child-based, and fun lesson for children ages 4-8. Through a lion named Rex, children will learn Rex’s “Rules of ROARing” and how to keep their bodies safe. This lesson is easy to implement, free, and designed to be taught in a classroom setting or to any group of children (at a library, scout troop, Sunday school class, etc.). The training includes take home materials for reinforcement of this lesson at home.
