Children’s Advocacy Center Model
Learn how the Child Advocacy Center model brings together agencies and services to better support children and families affected by abuse.
An organization’s child protection policies should reflect the mission of the organization, as well as the types of programs/services provided, the location or locations where services occur, and the age and developmental needs of participants. Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte can provide guidance in the development of these policies.

Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte cannot address all possible programming interactions or scenarios that may arise. An organization’s child protection policies should be reviewed regularly and updated as needed. Policies should be reviewed and approved by the organization’s leadership, board of directors, and insurance provider.
