We are thrilled to share some big news! After years of serving our community as Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center, we are entering a bold new chapter. To better reflect our mission and our role in the national network of child advocacy centers, we have officially rebranded as the Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte.

While our name is changing, our heart remains the same. We are still the same dedicated team providing hope and healing for children and families.

Looking Ahead

This rebrand coincides with an exciting next step: our upcoming move to The Umbrella Center, Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s first-ever Family Justice Center.

Located at 4822 Albemarle Road, The Umbrella Center is a groundbreaking public-private partnership that brings essential services together in one place. By co-locating with partners like Safe Alliance, law enforcement, medical providers, and the District Attorney’s Office, we are removing the barriers that often make seeking help a “storm” of its own.

Construction is currently underway, and we expect to move into our new home at The Umbrella Center in fall 2027. Until then, we continue providing full services at our current location at 901 East Boulevard.

Thank you for standing with us as we grow. While we may have a new name, our promise remains: to protect and heal children, unite key partners, and engage the community to help end child abuse.
